For today’s post, we’d like to express our gratitude for all of our generous staff who participated in a 2-week long food drive. This company-wide effort was Gateway’s Second Annual Food Drive in collaboration with Gleaner’s Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan.

To add a fun twist on the drive, each of Gateway’s clinics competed with each other to see which location could collect the most food items. After tallying the results, a special congratulations goes out to our Bingham Farms location, the winners of this year’s competition! With that said, we are humbled by the generous involvement of team members at every location, who together were able to collect over 2,700 food items for donation!

Gleaner’s Food Bank is a wonderful organization that provides food to 528 partnered soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and other agencies. Each day, they distribute 96,000 meals and provide nutrition education to 171,000 children. We love working with Gleaner’s and hope to make the food drive an ongoing Gateway tradition.
