Living With Autism

On Friday, April 5th, Metro Parent will be hosting their annual Living With Autism Workshop. This event will feature a number of informative talks and presentations on a variety of autism-related topics. Kicking off the event will be a panel discussion by local experts, including Gateway’s Chief Clinical Officer, Christina Vestevich. The workshop’s keynote speakers include Anita Lesko, an author and registered nurse anesthetist who was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome at age 50, and Frank Campagna, who runs the “Autism Daddy” blog where he describes his experiences raising a non-verbal son with autism.

We are excited for this opportunity to raise autism awareness and are proud to serve as a sponsor for this year’s workshop. Whether you are the parent of a child with autism or a professional working in a related field, this event is a great opportunity for connecting with others, learning from experts, and gaining greater insight into the lives of those on the autism spectrum.
