Mittens for Detroit

December is here and the season of giving has begun. This year Gateway has teamed up with Mittens for Detroit to provide children, teens, and adults in the Detroit area with quality gloves and mittens. Our goal is to make sure those who are not able to provide warm gloves for their family receive support from the community. We started collecting new or handmade gloves on November 25th, and we will continue to accept donations until December 23rd. These donations will be distributed by Mittens for Detroit to over 100 partners who make sure those who need the donations most receive them. Mittens for Detroit has raised over 250,000 pairs of gloves since they began in 2010! Please join us in warming hearts, two hands at a time, by bringing in new or handmade gloves and dropping them off in our donation boxes found in your clinic’s lobby.
