We are excited to introduce two new Behavior Consultants to the Gateway team!

Claire Ihuwan, M.Ed:

Behavior Consultant

Claire grew up in Windsor, Ontario in Canada and moved to Michigan in 2008. She graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology in 2012. Claire earned her Master’s degree in Foundations of Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Cincinnati while working at an early intervention center in West Bloomfield, MI. She is passionate about her career and says: “I love playing a part in the successes and achievements of my clients and watching them grow every day.”

Mallory Gonte, M.Ed:

Behavior Consultant

Mallory got her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in psychology. Her practicum involved implementing ABA principles to children diagnosed with Autism and she knew that she wanted to learn more. Soon after working in the field, she attended grad school at Arizona State University where she discovered the fine details of behavior analysis. She has had 3 years of experience as a behavior therapist before she started working at Gateway Pediatric Therapy. Mallory says: “This new position has given me more responsibilities and has better prepared me for the roles of a BCBA. I look forward to coming to Gateway to help children reach their fullest potential.”
