ccWe are excited to introduce two new members of the Gateway team that started this summer!

Victoria Kughn, M. Ed. BCBA

     Board Certified Behavior Analyst

After receiving her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2011, Tori moved to Boston, MA to work at a residential facility for children and adolescents with autism. While in Boston, she realized her passion to pursue a career in Applied Behavior Analysis and decided to move back to Michigan in 2013 to begin a graduate program at Wayne State University. Tori received her Master’s in Education while completing her practicum coursework at an early intervention center in Macomb, MI. In 2014, Tori received her BCBA certification and began working in-home with clients in Oakland and Macomb counties before joining Gateway. Tori loves being a BCBA and seeing the progress that her clients make each day!

Kaitlyn Brazeau, M.S.

     Behavior Consultant

Kaitlyn Brazeau was born and raised in Sylvania, Ohio and attended the University of Toledo where she obtained a B.A. in psychology. After graduating, she attended Southern Illinois University and received her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis. While attending SIU she gained experience with all different populations and ages. She specifically gained experience with intensive parent training and consulting for schools. By her second year, she worked as a vocational case manager with young adults with various disabilities to help teach them independent living skills and job readiness skills. She also worked at a facility that worked with older adults where she provided behavior consulting. While attending SIU, she also conducted research on the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with the help of professors and research assistants. Kaitlyn is currently working towards getting the research published. While attending SIU Kaitlyn also volunteered at an autism clinic on campus. Kaitlyn says, ”I love being able to see the difference that I can make when working with my clients, even if that difference is small, it still is a huge accomplishment for that individual and their family. Those accomplishments, though they may be small, are what make me love what I do.” Kaitlyn chose Gateway because she wanted to be part of a team that had the same passion and love for providing their clients with the best services possible. She loves being part of a company that has such high standards for the services that they provide to their families.
