Summer of 2019 Wrap-Up

It’s hard to believe that August is nearly over and summer is drawing to a close. We’re very grateful for all the fun times we shared this summer and the memories we made along the way. Thanks to all of you who took part in the events that we were involved in over the past few months. As a team, we worked to provide more than 2,700 food items for families in our area during our 2nd annual Gleaner’s food drive. Together, we got creative and put on a wagon ride haircut station, helping to turn a potentially scary experience into a fun and exciting one for our kiddos. We had a wonderful time with all of you who came out to join team Gateway at the Detroit Zoo’s Hero Walk, sponsored by Autism Alliance of Michigan, an event that as a whole generated $280,000 to promote autism awareness in our communities. We are extremely fortunate to have so many fun and passionate families and team members to share experiences like these.
